Solid client relationships and a strong company culture are the keys to success for South Australia’s fastest growing business in 2019, Next Gen Flooring.

The commercial flooring specialist led by three directors, Craig Cooper, Luke Skoblyk and Trav Bird, took first place in the Fast Movers 2019 program, recording an average revenue growth of 401% over three years.

About 450 people attended the awards, presented by BDO and Brand South Australia on Friday, May 24, to celebrate the state’s top 25 fastest growing and most innovative small-to-medium enterprises.

Next Gen Flooring was established three-and-a-half years ago and has grown to become one of the largest commercial flooring contractors in SA. They attribute their success to five core company values – integrity, respect, service, innovation and professionalism and say company culture is extremely important.

“We have a great respect for our employees, client, suppliers and subcontractors. We wouldn’t be a company without the support of each of these. We strive to back our installers and work with our clients to solve problems together.”

Energy efficiency company Sustainable Savings came in at second place with 215% average revenue growth while Port Adelaide business Crusher Parts International came in at third place with 189% average revenue growth.

This year also marked the introduction of two new Fast Mover awards, the Fastest Employment Growth Award, won by Deliver It Group, and the Excellence in Business Award, won by Yates Electrical Services.

Since partnering with BDO four years ago, the Fast Movers program has attracted entries from more than 360 local businesses.

Brand South Australia CEO Karen Raffen says the program helps create passion, enthusiasm and exposure among the state’s fastest growing companies.

“With the top 25 made up of businesses from a range of industries, the Fast Movers program has again proven that SA is home to diverse, high quality and ever-growing businesses,” she says.

“The top 25 Fast Movers for 2019 should all be commended for their achievements and significant business growth, delivering economic benefit to SA and beyond.”
