Imagine yourself in the late 1800s in the “summer residence” of Scottish businessman Robert Barr Smith and his family. Immerse yourself in the stunning rooms full of original tapestries, fireplaces, tiles and William Morris wallpaper and soft furnishing.

As part of SA History Festival take a guided tour of the House, enjoy a light lunch, listen to a talk on the history of the House and Mt Barker area, see displays from the Barr Smith Library and roaming characters from the era.
